Estimados delegados,
Es con gran placer que les doy la bienvenida a la Comisión de Medio Ambiente de las Naciones Unidas (PNUMA) del Modelo de Naciones Unidas.
En este comité, tendrán la oportunidad de abordar y discutir algunos de los problemas más apremiantes que enfrenta nuestro planeta en términos de medio ambiente y sostenibilidad. Como presidente de esta comisión, les insto a que aborden estos temas con mente abierta y espíritu colaborativo, trabajando juntos para encontrar soluciones innovadoras y efectivas.
En este espacio, tendrán la oportunidad de explorar los desafíos y las oportunidades que enfrenta el mundo, en términos de cambio climático, la gestión de los recursos naturales, la contaminación y la conservación de la biodiversidad. Espero que aprovechen al máximo esta oportunidad para aprender, crecer y desarrollar sus habilidades en la resolución de problemas y en la negociación.
Les deseo mucho éxito en sus deliberaciones y espero con ansias ver los resultados de sus esfuerzos. Les agradezco por su compromiso y dedicación para enfrentar los desafíos ambientales de nuestro tiempo.

Una cálida bienvenida para todos, mi nombre es Shamuel Ganem y estaré desempeñando el papel de presidente dentro del comité del Congreso. Quiero agradecer de antemano a las personas que hacen todo esto posible y a ustedes, los participantes de la quinta edición de este hermoso proyecto “Ciudad+”
Desempeñaré mi rol de presidente de la mejor manera posible para hacer de este comité un espacio donde se expresen, compartan y se desarrollen ideas, todas con un solo objetivo por el cual todos estamos aquí presentes y es la mejora y evolución de nuestro país, Colombia. Se que no es fácil y para algunos será la primera vez, pero como dijo Séneca, es necesario exponernos a la adversidad y los obstáculos para ponernos a prueba evolucionar como seres humanos, mi trabajo aquí es que todos ustedes al finalizar este hermoso trabajo se queden con algún aprendizaje positivo y significativo para sus vidas.
La población colombiana está altamente disturbada por las alarmantes problemáticas que se han venido presentando a lo largo de los años, y es nuestro deber como congresistas es aportar y promover la resolución de estos problemas mediante proyectos de ley que satisfagan todas las necesidades de nuestro pueblo colombiano, libertar a la gente de sus preocupaciones y peligros, aportar nuestro granito de arena a este hermoso país.

Welcome to the DISEC committee, it is an honor for me to be able to play the role of president. I want to extend a cordial greeting to all those who make all this possible, and thank you for giving life to the fifth edition of our beloved ‘Ciudad+’, by George's Noble School.
As president, I will direct all my efforts to make this committee an environment in which all its participants can express their ideas and work for a better Colombia, generating critical skills and developing a debate that brings together the potential of those young people who have decided to be part of the change.
It is a concern for all the direction in which our precious country is pointing, the problems that so much impede its development and how we can change it. We are in the midst of uncertainty with the expectation that everything will turn out for the best, but it is not a secret that the presence of groups outside the law, corruption within the government and how the country with its recent change of government could bring irreparable consequences for Colombians. Let's be part of tomorrow by taking action in the present.

The best way to learn is by being involved in something, delegates. I invite you just to be prepared, and to give your best in ‘Ciudad+ V’, because I completely believe it will be a great way of learning and testing your knowledge, representing your delegation correctly.
Welcome to the fifth edition to ‘Ciudad+’ and to the UNODC committee, it is a pleasure to be the president in this edition of the event. Every failure may not be taken as it is, it must be taken as a step to success. Delegates, the future is in our hands, as the next generation, we should start developing our knowledge, and start joining in order to find solutions. I strongly think that ‘Ciudad+ V’ is a great space to develop this, to start working members of a society to make our world and nations better.
The United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime will be guided by me and my co-president, so we wanted to do our best in the work we are in charge of. Which is the reason we were always a step ahead of everyone else by searching the best for you. That’s why we wanted to create a guide that would help you to develop and to create a base for your research. We hope you do your best, and without further ado, we welcome you to the fifth edition of 'Ciudad+' and UNODC, looking forward to your best version.

When I participated in my first MUN, I was amazed by all the knowledge and opportunities that it provides, that’s why I want you, dear delegate, to take Ciudad+ as an opportunity to become a better person in all different aspects and take a step forward to contribute to our world, to defend human rights and equality, to meet new people and to fulfill yourself with consciousness and information that one day will help you make our world a better place.
I’m very happy you decided to join this committee and that you’ll be part of this incredible experience. As your president, you will find support every time you need it, and I’ll receive all the questions you have. Expecting the best from all of you.
